In Simplify, you can drag and drop, add rules, and edit logic using C# hard coding. To edit a map, access it through the menu option on the left.


  1. Explain drag and drop: After entering the map, you will see the Source Document Type on the left side, which you can drag and drop into the Source on the right side.
    1. Drag and Drop: You can move a field in the Source Document Type from the left side to the right side by holding down the mouse.

      Linked: This is a notification that the link was successful.
    2. Use C# code in a link: Click the button in the red square.
      1. You can use C# to hard-code the logic as desired.

        /purchaseorder: The source is the item dragged and dropped from the Source Document Type, and it also represents the "value."
      2. Save the code in a link: Click Save button.
    3. Additionally, to learn more about the functions, click the question button in the red square, simplify will show the list of usable function:
    4. Besides, there is a place to store code snippets, allowing you to retrieve and reuse them easily.
      1. Create new note: Click the page button in the red square.
      2. Simplify will display a Notes dialog, where you can click Add New to create a new note. 
      3. After clicking, it will display the New Note field.
        • Delete: Used to delete a note.
        • Expand/Collapse: Used to expand or collapse a note.
        • Name: The note's title.
        • Note: The note's content.
      4. Save the note: Click Save button.
    5. Add rule for data link: You can also add rules to modify data, requiring only a minimal amount of C# code.
      1. Right-click on the field on the right side, and Simplify will display a dialog within the red square.
        • Remove Source: Remove the link you dragged and dropped into the source.
        • Remove Code: Remove the C# code for a link.
        • Set Source Validation: Define validation rules for the source.
        • Set Destination Validation: Define validation rules for the destination.
        • Edit Code: Edit the C# code for a link. 
      2. Select Set Destination Validation to define rules for the link.
        Levels rule include: 
        • Global: The rule is highlighted in red. It defines data applicable to all users using this document type.
        • Reseller: The rule is highlighted in orange. It defines data that applies to all customers within the reseller.
        • Customer: The rule is highlighted in yellow. It defines data that applies to all partners within the customers.
        • Partners: The rule is highlighted in blue. The rule defines data applicable to each individual partner.
        • Custom partners: The rule is highlighted in green. It defines data applicable to all files of the customer what is using this document type.
