If my communication server is down, is there another way to upload my files to ECGrid?

You can manually upload files to the ECGrid network by going to the mailbox you want to send from, clicking on the My Connections tab, then the Upload sub-tab:

Choose whether you want to upload standard EDI files, (X12, EDIFACT, VDA, etc.) or if you want to upload non-EDI files.

To upload EDI files, click on the Click to upload button and navigate to the file where you will upload the files from. You can choose multiple files, up to 250MB.

To upload non-EDI files, you will also need to have both the sender and receiver EDI IDs or ECGridIDs on the ECGrid network.

Once you add the files, they will show as pending. To upload them to ECGrid, click on Upload Files:

You will then see the results of the file upload. Success indicates the file was successfully uploaded to the ECGrid network, but does not guarantee the file was successfully processed. You can click on the blue Parcel ID number which will take you to the file detail page where you can view the file status.
