Read Only Access

Does ECGrid allow for Read Only Access?

ECGrid does provide a Read Only authorization level for users. Read Only authorization reduces risk for your organization by preventing accidental edits, unauthorized changes, or mistakes that could impact your network.

Read Only Users can view:

• ECGrid Portal Dashboard
• Mailbox Detail Information
• EDI IDs
• Trading Partnerships
• Transactions

Read Only Users do not have authorization for the following functions:

• Create (Users, EDI IDs, Trading Partnerships, Carbon Copies, Connections, File Naming, Delimiter Standardization) 
• Edit (Users, EDI IDs, Trading Partnerships, Carbon Copies, Mailbox Details, Connections, File Naming, Delimiter Standardization) 
• Submit 
• Delete (Users, EDI IDs, Trading Partnerships, Carbon Copies, File Naming)
• Resend Transactions
• Download Raw Data

To create a Read Only User:

When creating a new user, use the Auth Level dropdown to choose "Read Only":
