API-First Architecture

A design approach where every function of Global Product Access is accessible through an Application Programming Interface (API). This enables direct integration, automation, and real-time synchronization between systems without requiring manual processes.

Attribute Aliasing

A capability within Global Product Access that automatically maps and standardizes product data fields between different systems. Attribute aliasing ensures consistent product information even when trading partners use different naming conventions or attribute structures.

Catalog

A published, segmented, or filtered view of a company’s complete product list within Global Product Access. Each catalog contains SKUs, descriptions, pricing, inventory, images, and attributes that can be shared and updated in real time.

Compliance Engine

A rules-based validation layer that ensures required product attributes are present and formatted correctly before data is shared. The compliance engine helps maintain data quality and reduces downstream cleanup during onboarding.

Continuous Sync

An automated process that keeps product data aligned between publishers and subscribers. When updates are made to a catalog, changes are reflected across subscribed relationships without manual intervention.

JSON on Demand

A feature that delivers live product data in JSON format upon request. This enables integrations and partner systems to retrieve the most current catalog information in real time.

Marketplace Integration

Direct connectivity between Global Product Access and ecommerce platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, and Walmart Marketplace. Marketplace integration helps maintain consistent product data across multiple sales channels.

Messaging and Approvals

Built-in communication tools that allow publishers and subscribers to request access, approve catalog subscriptions, and manage data-sharing relationships within the platform.

Multiple Connectivity Options

Support for various data formats and transport methods, including JSON, XML, CSV, and EDI. This flexibility allows Global Product Access to integrate with modern APIs as well as legacy enterprise systems.

Publisher

An organization that uploads and maintains product data within Global Product Access. Publishers control catalog segmentation, manage updates to product information, and determine which subscribers can access their data.

Publisher and Subscriber Model

The operating framework of Global Product Access in which publishers distribute product data and subscribers receive structured, synchronized updates. Both parties retain control and visibility over their data relationships.

QR Code Product Showcase

A feature that generates scannable QR codes linking directly to live product information. This is commonly used in trade shows, showrooms, and digital campaigns to provide immediate access to product data.

Real-Time Synchronization

The continuous propagation of product updates across connected subscription relationships. This ensures that subscribers always receive current pricing, inventory, and attribute data.

Subscriber

An organization that subscribes to a publisher’s catalog within Global Product Access. Subscribers automatically receive structured product updates and can integrate that data directly into their internal systems, marketplaces, or downstream applications.

Subscription-Based Pricing

A pricing model based on active subscription relationships rather than SKU count or catalog size. This structure allows companies to scale their product data without incremental per-SKU fees and supports predictable cost planning as partnerships grow.
